Have you ever had a day where nothing seems to want to go right for you?

Yeah... Today was on of those days.

Started the new job at the nursing home. That place is literally going to suck the life out of me... It was rough. I mean, there were little perks, like working with Leah and one of the guy's I used to mentor's mom... But, still... It was so very depressing there. I'm going to look for another job starting tonight, so I can maybe be out of there in a few months. I just don't know if I can handle that atmosphere.

Still no word from the Coast Guard... I went in on Friday for a consultation. The guy I talked to made me promise I won't date until I'm 25. Hell, if that's what I have to give up in order to get in to the military, its a sacrifice I'm willing to make... As much as I'd love to date, I need to do something good for myself and for my life, and being allowed to enlist and serve would be worth not having a boyfriend for the next five years. I shot my recruiter an e-mail tonight, so hopefully I'll hear back from him tomorrow. Good news please!

I was naughty tonight... I went out to McDonalds and got a brownie melt and coffee... I know I'm probably going to gain five pounds from it, but it was worth it. I got to see my old coworkers, which was nice. Jason, my lovely, is now a manager. I told him he looked sexy in his McUniform. He appreciated it. I miss working with that kid. He gives excellent hugs. I needed one after today.

I think I'm going to pass out now. I'm very tired, even with the coffee in me.
